The CCF Mission
Our mission is to serve the Chisholm and Balkan communities by stewarding funds for innovative and creative projects, which are responsive to community and economic development in the areas of social service, education, arts and culture, conservation, and historic and environmental preservation.
Professional Management
The Chisholm Community Foundation ensures that all donations go directly into community projects. All operating expenses of the CCF come from corporate partnerships and fundraisers. The CCF only spends the interest and dividend income earned on its trust. That interest can be invested back into the community for a variety of projects that will help make Chisholm a better place to live.
The St. Paul and Minnesota Foundation provide the CCF with investment management services, administrative support, and our 501(c)3 status. The Foundations also work with CCF donors who are interested in setting up planned gifts or named funds.
Local control of the CCF is in the hands of a ten-member board of committed individuals who contribute many volunteer hours of their time and talent toward fundraising and managing the CCF’s investments.

CCF Introduces New Corporate Partnership Program
In the spirit of harnessing positive change, the Chisholm Community Foundation foresees big things happening right here in our corner of the Iron Range. We are hard at work lining up new projects that will help further our aspirations, and of course, part of that work requires steady funding.
The Chisholm Community Foundation is excited to introduce our new corporate sponsorship tiers. With the restructuring of our Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum designations and incentives, we hope to entice participation and continued support. These new levels of sponsorships will be a step forward in our commitment to create and build new corporate relationships and we are confident that these partnerships will help further our goals for the Foundation.
We are looking for businesses or individuals to participate in our corporate partnership program. All office operations costs are covered by proceeds from fundraising events and corporate partner contributions. This allows all monies contributed by investors to go directly into our general and/or family funds, which increases our granting capabilities. Our Foundation stands as a beacon among small community foundations in our state – and the support of our corporate partners and investors is what makes us successful.
Businesses or individuals interested in helping the CCF meet our operational funding needs can become a part of our corporate partnership program by calling the CCF office at 218-254-1101. Sponsor Recognition Levels are listed below.
